In response to many requests from the UK and abroad, the Iona Community has produced a new video showing not only the natural beauty of the Isle of Iona but also the life and work of Community itself. Some of the aspects featured are:

* Work and worship at Iona Abbey and the MacLeod Centre

* The Camas outdoor centre

* The Iona pilgrimage

* Archive footage of early rebuilding work and community life

* The Wild Goose Resource Group in action

* The Community’s mainland work and base in Glasgow

Those unable to visit Iona Abbey and the MacLeod Centre to take part in the guest programme will find this video useful in understanding the essence of the Community’s life and work, while for those who have made the journey it will be an enjoyable reminder of their experience.

Congratulations and kudos to everyone invloved in the production of this wonderful new piece on the island and the community. I intend to show it to our congregation here in Rock Island, Illinois, as well as whenever and wherever I can spread the word about the Iona Community and its work. To see the sacred island and the beautiful old chapel, if only on film, warmed my heart and soul. We long to return someday.
