Yet more Advent downloads this week: an abundance of resources for a Christingle service, and a new hymn for Advent. There is also now a PowerPoint version of the Advent liturgy Waiting in Darkness.

In addition, author Joy Mead has discovered that an older draft of one her poems (rather than the final version) found its way into her recently published book Glimpsed in Passing. We have made the later version available as a free download for those who would like to see what this poem evolved into.

Poem update – Glimpsed in Passing (free PDF download) Joy Mead

Joy Mead, says:
‘On page 78 of the book there is an error entirely of my own making. What appears in the book is an uncrafted skeleton of a poem. What should have appeared is attached [available from this link]. Somewhere somehow I confused the two files!’

This free download provides the updated version of the poem ‘Re-reading Middlemarch at 70’ for those who have bought copies of the first print run of the book.
