About the author

Mary Low is a writer and independent scholar with a special interest in the religious and spiritual traditions of Scotland and Ireland. She lives near Melrose in the Scottish Borders and teaches occasionally at Edinburgh University. Her other books include Celtic Christianity and Nature and Cherish the Earth.
