John Murning has served in the Parishes of New Cathcart, United Church of Bute, Denny Old, and Sherwood Greenlaw in Paisley and had a short spell as an Army chaplain. He has also served on a part-time basis as a hospital, industrial and football club chaplain. He has been involved with Spill the Beans, an Internet all-age worship resource with a Scottish flavour, and is a contributor to various Wild Goose books.
