Simon Taylor is a minister of South Street Baptist Church in central Exeter, one of the oldest Baptist churches in South West England. The church has a broad theological tradition and in recent decades has worked hard to serve the needs of the local community through running a community centre in a former warehouse next to the church. Simon is also the Baptist chaplain to the University of Exeter.
