David McNeish has been a hospital doctor, a worship musician and a campaigner for the Citizens Advice Bureau. He is now training as a Church of Scotland minister and is a member of the Iona Community. Sarah Anderson studied literature at Oxford University and is a primary-school teacher. They live in South Queensferry and have three children.
