We Shall Break Bread… a song that reflects what might be called the political implications of the eucharist. It is not simply a memorial feast,
but has resonances of social justice as it consecrates the product of both earth and human labour and evokes the many occasions on which Jesus shared meals, sometimes to the chagrin of his hosts.
